Create Your Organization

Your organization is created during onboarding and acts as the foundation for all activity in Yardo.Organization-level settings apply across all locations.
2

Add a Location

Create at least one location to begin scheduling. You’ll configure:
  • Location name
  • Time zone
  • Operating hours
  • Closed days or holidays (if applicable)
Operating hours define when appointments can be scheduled and prevent conflicts.
3

Configure Dock Doors

Add dock doors for the location. For each dock door, you can:
  • Assign a name or identifier
  • Set inbound, outbound, or both
  • Mark active or inactive
  • Block time for maintenance or downtime
Dock doors represent your actual scheduling capacity.
4

Define Time Slot Settings

Configure how time is divided for scheduling. This includes:
  • Slot interval (15, 30, or 60 minutes)
  • Capacity rules per time window
  • Conflict prevention rules
These settings ensure appointments reflect real operational constraints.
5

Invite Internal Users

Invite team members and assign roles. You can control:
  • Which locations users can access
  • What actions they are allowed to perform
Clear role assignment improves accountability and security.
6

Enable Carrier Access (Optional)

If desired, grant carriers access to request or manage appointments.Carrier access can be:
  • Approved at the organization level
  • Limited to specific locations
This step is optional but highly recommended to reduce manual scheduling work.
Once a location and dock doors are configured, Yardo is fully operational. You can begin creating appointments, managing dock activity, and tracking arrivals immediately.
