How Driver Check-In Works
Yardo supports three driver-friendly check-in methods:- a secure check-in link sent by text or email
- a text-message reply flow
- a QR code provided by the facility
Before Arrival
Drivers should have:- the appointment details or reference number
- access to the mobile number or email used for the appointment
- any facility instructions shared in the appointment confirmation
Check In With A Link
When a driver receives a secure check-in link:- Open the link on a mobile device.
- Review the appointment details.
- Confirm arrival.
- Provide any requested information, such as trailer details, if prompted.
Check In By Text Message
Some facilities allow drivers to check in by replying to a text message. In that case:- Open the message sent for the appointment.
- Reply using the expected keyword or instruction shown in the message.
- Wait for the confirmation or next step.
Check In With A QR Code
Some facilities include a QR code in appointment communications or printed paperwork. To use that option:- Scan the QR code with a mobile device.
- Open the check-in page.
- Review the appointment details.
- Confirm arrival.
What Happens After Check-In
After a driver checks in, Yardo can help the facility:- confirm the arrival time
- match the driver to the correct appointment
- identify early, on-time, or late arrivals
- route exceptions to the facility team when follow-up is needed
